Caitlyn has a strong interest in working alongside female athletes, which has driven her to be a part of the medical team at Carlton Football club within the AFLW program. Although sports and professional athletes is a strong focus for Caitlyn, she also holds an equal passion for assisting people who suffer with headaches and postural complaints to achieve their health and movement goals.
While growing up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Caitlyn participated in multiple sports where her love of the human body and how it functions developed, leading her to complete her studies at RMIT in 2020. After sustaining multiple injuries herself, Caitlyn understands the importance of prioritising rehab, recovery and adapting a proactive instead of reactive mentality to pain and dysfunction. She executes this approach by implementing various techniques such as dry needling, cupping, myofascial release as well as exercise prescription, focusing on strength and mobility all while building a trusting and genuine relationship with her clients.
Her passion for sports, was emphasised during her studies and Myothearpy career that has followed by being involved in multiple professional sporting clubs and environments, such as the WNBL, NBL, local CrossFit competitions and currently at the Carlton Football Club working within the AFLW Medical Team.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Caitlyn walking her dog Marley to the local cafe, swimming laps at the pool, as well supporting the Hawks on the weekend.
