Having worked and trained with athletes this exposed Larson to a wide range of injuries and conditions that sparked his passion to identify the root cause of injuries and how to develop a roadmap back to activity.
Clinically Larson commonly utilises a combination of exercise and manual therapy with emphasis to empower patients to develop a better understanding of their own body so that they can make positive informed changes to manage their own health and wellbeing (effectively and independently). This usually consists of not only assessing the musculoskeletal system but also appreciating environmental/lifestyle factors (sleep & recovery, stress, nutrition, ergonomics, etc). Osteopathy embodies this holistic approach and appreciates how the body works together as a unit, physically and mentally.
Larson understands the importance of listening to the patient’s story so that we can clearly identify their goal and to create a roadmap that respects their lifestyle. Ultimately, Larson wants to inspire people to move well rather than move often.
Outside the clinic Larson enjoys getting down to the coast to go surfing, going camping in the van, training and having a laugh with mates.
