Dr Penny Dare, Registered Osteopath

Penny’s area of clinical interest is in adolescent sporting injuries and through this was the Osteopath for the Australian Cheerleading Team in 2018 at the World Championships in the USA.

About Penny

Penny graduated from RMIT University with a bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Osteopathy in 2013. She has since completed further study in dry needling, sports rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates. Penny is the Clinic Director of Beyond Hawthorn. 

Penny was an elite cheerleader and dancer and has competed at the IASF Cheerleading and Dance World Championships in 2015 and 2016. Her extensive experience as an athlete and practitioner enables her to support her patients through treatment, rehabilitation and return to sport regardless of their age or level.

Aside from hands on treatment, Penny incorporates rehabilitation, injury prevention and patient education in her osteopathic treatments to help her patients manage their complaints and achieve long term positive outcomes. Penny also teaches Clinical Pilates at Beyond Hawthorn
