Dr Josh Boak, Registered Osteopath
Josh completed his Masters in Osteopathy at Victoria University. Currently, Josh works with the newly established North Melbourne AFLW club as part of their medical team assisting in treatment, game preparation and rehab.
Working in this setting has given Josh keen insight into sport’s-based injuries and has furthered his interest in managing acute injuries of the lower and upper limb.
Prior to working with the North Melbourne ALFW club Josh was a trainer at South Croydon and Mulgrave Football clubs. Josh enjoys team sports having played both soccer and basketball growing up and has personally experienced the challenges that can be presented by serious injuries. This is where his passion in Osteopathy began from a young age wanting to help others that are active like him.
Throughout his studies, Josh has also developed a strong interest in the management of long-term pain conditions including headaches, back pain and tendinopathies.
Josh believes in a patient-centred approach using a diverse range of treatment philosophies to support his patients and help them MOVE THROUGH LIFE.
