Dr Candice Tandy, Registered Osteopath

Osteopathy considers the person as a single, interconnected body where one part affects the others and vice-versa. This approach enables osteopaths to find the source of pain and discomfort and go to work trying to alleviate it knowing the symptoms may abate.

About Candice

It was this holistic approach that led Candice to consider osteopathy as a career option…

“I used to struggle terribly with chronic headaches,” she says. “Osteopathy was the first thing that offered me any real relief and I wanted to do that same thing for others.”

Once her osteopath had solved her problem and taught her how she could help herself, Candice knew it was the career for her. She now gains great satisfaction from using her skills to facilitate other people’s innate healing and regulating mechanisms to achieve better health outcomes. Of course, given her history, she is especially pleased when she is able to relieve her clients’ chronic headaches so they can get on with living the life they want.

Like many, Candice loves to travel. However, the speed with which she and her husband have taken to it is impressive. In six years, they have been to over 25 countries! Maybe as you’re receiving your next treatment, she could offer some travel tips!
