Dr Nick O’Connor, Registered Osteopath
Nick is a registered Osteopath with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University. Nick’s first interest in osteopathy stemmed from having years of treatment for ongoing injuries himself.
As a national representative in Swimming for many years, Nick knows how repetitive strains can hinder the body and potentially affect performance. Being a competitive swimmer for many years Nick has also played a key role in coaching others in the pool and helping them achieve their goals through developing specific training programs.
Nick’s approach to treatment consists of a balanced hands-on and movement base therapy, whilst applying a structural approach to tailor patient-specific management plans to not only alleviate pain but find the cause root.
Nick aims to bring consistency, diligence and warmth to his patients and provide the best care possible for them. Health and wellbeing is of great importance and encourages his patients to move through life and take an active role in their recovery.
Outside of Osteopathy, Nick can be found attending a variety sporting events, swimming laps when the weather is nice and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.
