Madeline Wild, Registered Physiotherapist
Maddy’s background as a national swimmer and swim coach has helped form her passion for treating athletes with injuries and dysfunctions so that they can continue to do what they love and be the best they can be. Through completing her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy, Maddy also has experience treating a range of patients from a variety of settings including paediatrics, acute inpatient rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and oncology.
Growing up in competitive swimming, Maddy has always been passionate about health and wellbeing. Maddy graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy and has gone on to complete further training in Clinical Pilates.
Maddy strives to help her patients achieve their unique and personal goals through a balanced combination of hands-on treatment and movement-based strategies. She also believes in taking into account any biopsychosocial and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to her patients’ conditions as part of her treatment. Maddy enjoys all aspects of physiotherapy but has a particular interest in sport injury rehabilitation.
Maddy aims to empower her patients to make informed decisions about their health, and she finds that encouraging her patients to take an active approach in their rehabilitation journey helps achieve the most positive long-term outcomes.
Away from the clinic you can find Maddy keeping active at the gym or Pilates, sipping coffee and spending time with friends and family
