Stephanie Carroll, Registered Physiotherapist
Steph is an experienced physiotherapist who is highly qualified in treating persistent pain. She is an Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Pain Physiotherapist recognising her knowledge and expertise in this area.
Steph has a Master’s in Public Health and enjoys supporting people to learn how to take control of pain and achieve their goals. She has a background in high performance training through her own sporting endeavours playing football in the VFLW with Hawthorn FC and now in her role there as a development coach. Steph is passionate about education and empowering individuals to learn self-management strategies and to improve their functional capacity so they can Move Through Life, doing the things they enjoy and things they may not have thought possible.
Focusing on a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, Steph will take the time to explain her findings and work with you to develop a management plan. This will often include education, treatment, proactive management strategies and a graded activity approach so that you are back moving (whether that be playing sport, in the garden, or out walking) as soon as possible. Outcome measures will be used to track your progress and meaningful goals set to guide treatment sessions.
Steph brings enthusiasm, empathy and creativity to her role, and is ready to work with any individual.
Outside of the clinic you will find Steph at a local café, in the gym, at the footy, or on the beach with her Kelpie, Woody.
