Based on clinical experience and the latest research, Jennifer will ensure that you walk away with a deeper understanding of fatigue, as well as practical tips that can be implemented straight away to improve energy management.
A little bit about our presenter Jen Smallridge:
Jen is a Senior Exercise Physiologist, writer and commentator for Women’s Health and Fitness. She works with clients with musculoskeletal injuries, weight loss surgery, mental health, myalgic encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), chronic pain and fibromyalgia.
Jen has over 10 years of clinical experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She has lectured in Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University. She loves helping people to have positive movement experiences and has a passion for gathering and sharing helpful information.
Since graduating, Jen has worked in a variety of clinical and hospital settings, becoming well versed in the management of musculoskeletal injuries, weight loss surgery, mental health, myalgic encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), chronic pain and fibromyalgia. She has also written about exercise for a number of publications including Women’s Health and Fitness and The Great Health Guide.
Jen believes in movement for everybody, with the right consideration for health conditions and history. She loves helping people to find their version of fitness, especially when they don’t identify as ‘exercise people’.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jen running around with her dog Barney, attending yoga/Pilates/dance classes, curled up reading a book, or grabbing a takeaway coffee and going on long walks with friends.
