At Beyond we offer a range of payment options for Exercise Physiology consults. We offer Exercise Physiology at our Hawthorn, Blackburn and Windsor clinics.
Our initial assessments run for 60 minutes and if you are paying as a private patient it will be $105. This session includes a full medical history, muscular and joint screening and other health testing if applicable. You will walk away with a plan of what to expect-more individual sessions, a home program or perhaps you might join a small scale group.
Private Exercise Physiology prices:
- Individual 60mins time $105 (initial)
- Individual 30mins $85 (subsequent)
- Group Class (3 people) 60 minutes $38 a class
We have a HICAPS machine available and Private Health rebates can be made on site.
NDIS for Exercise Physiology at Beyond
We are passionate about helping clients that are eligible for the NDIS. If you are a self managed client or on a Plan Management program we can work with you to help you achieve the benefits exercise can bring to your condition.
If you fit into this category give us a call and we can discuss what is involved.
Unfortunately we are not eligible for Agency Managed clients at this time but please give us a call to discuss if there is another suitable option for you. In some cases you can call up and ask for your plan to be managed via a different method which may allow you to come and see one of our Exercise Physiologists.
Medicare Chronic Disease Management for Exercise Physiology at Beyond
If your GP has decided to develop a Chronic Disease Management program for you this can allow you up to five Medicare rebated visits with an Exercise Physiologist for the calendar year. This program contributes $63.25 towards each of your consults. This can be claimed on the spot at reception.
This does mean there is a gap payment of $41.75 for an initial and $21.75 for a follow up.
DVA for Exercise Physiology at Beyond
Our Exercise Physiologists help a lot of our DVA clients. Depending if you are a white or gold card holder you will be eligible for both individual and group classes. This is for DVA card holders only and you will have no out of pocket expenses on the day. The clinic will go through the Department of Veterans Affairs to settle the payments.
TAC for Exercise Physiology at Beyond
Our Exercise Physiologists work closely with TAC clients to help them return to what they love doing. The TAC scheduled fee for Exercise Physiology is as follows:
- Standard consult $97.37
- Group class $24.38
We ask that clients pay the full fee and seek reimbursement from the TAC and therefore there is a gap that the patient is out of pocket.
Workcover for Exercise Physiology at Beyond
Our Exercise Physiologists work closely with Workcover clients to help them return to wotk. The Workcover scheduled fee for Exercise Physiology is as follows:
- Standard consult $110.23 per hour
- Group class $19.09 per hour
We ask that clients pay the full fee and seek reimbursement from Workcover and therefore there is a gap that the patient is out of pocket.
