Helping you build strength and function before surgery and guiding a safe, structured return to full activity after, so your recovery is faster and more complete.
From acute muscle strains and ligament sprains to overuse injuries and stress fractures, our physiotherapists bring experience across a wide range of sport-induced injuries, with a focus on accurate diagnosis and a graded return-to-sport plan.
Conditions like Achilles tendinopathy, patella tendinopathy, and rotator cuff issues respond well to structured physiotherapy. We use evidence-based loading programs to reduce pain, restore function, and build long-term tendon resilience.
Whether you have rolled an ankle, strained your lower back, or tweaked a knee, our physiotherapists will assess the severity of your injury, provide hands-on treatment, and guide your rehabilitation to prevent re-injury
Physiotherapy plays a key role in managing both osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis. We offer tailored exercise programs, manual therapy, and education to help you reduce pain, improve joint function, and maintain your independence.
Whether your pain is acute or long-standing, our physios take the time to understand what is driving it and build a treatment and exercise plan that addresses the cause, not just the symptom.
Many headaches originate from the neck, jaw, or upper back. Our physiotherapists are trained to assess and treat cervicogenic headaches, tension-type headaches, and jaw-related pain.
Pregnancy and the postpartum period place unique demands on the body. We provide safe, evidence-based physiotherapy across all trimesters and into recovery, including for pelvic girdle pain, back pain, and pelvic floor concerns.
Nerve pain that radiates from the spine into the limbs, including sciatica, can be effectively managed with physiotherapy. We assess the source and build a plan to reduce irritation and restore comfortable movement.
We take a whole-person approach to chronic pain, combining hands-on treatment, education, and a progressive exercise program to help you build capacity, reduce the impact of pain, and get back to doing what matters most.

No referral is needed to book physiotherapy at our Grange clinic. You can book directly online or by phone. A referral from your GP is only required if you want to access Medicare rebates through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, which your GP arranges if you have a qualifying chronic condition. Private health insurance, Return to Work SA, DVA, CTP, and NDIS can all be accessed without a referral.
Our Grange physiotherapy team treats a broad range of musculoskeletal and movement conditions including sports injuries, back and neck pain, shoulder, knee, hip and ankle injuries, tendon conditions, headaches, pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, nerve pain, pregnancy-related pain, and chronic pain. If you are unsure whether physiotherapy is right for what you are experiencing, give us a call and we can help you decide.
Your initial appointment typically runs for 45 to 60 minutes. Your physiotherapist will complete a thorough assessment of your condition, review your health history, and discuss your goals. From this, they will develop a treatment plan and begin your care. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being assessed, and bring any relevant referrals, imaging, or medical history.
This varies depending on your condition, its severity, and your goals. Your physiotherapist will give you a realistic estimate at your initial appointment. Some acute conditions resolve in a few sessions, while more complex or long-standing issues may require a longer course of treatment. We will always be transparent about what to expect.
You may be eligible for Medicare rebates if your GP has referred you under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. This requires a chronic condition that has been present for six months or more, and your GP must set up the plan before your physiotherapy treatment begins. Please note we do not bulk bill. You will pay at the time of your appointment and receive the Medicare rebate back. Please call us to arrange your CDM appointment.
Yes. You can claim your private health extras at every appointment using our on-site HICAPS terminal. Please bring your health insurance card on the day. Please note that our SA clinics are not preferred providers for any health fund, which means our fees are not set or discounted by insurers. You will still receive your normal extras rebate and pay any applicable gap. Our fee structure reflects the quality, time, and expertise our practitioners bring to every appointment.
Yes. We accept Return to Work SA (formerly WorkCover SA) claims at our Grange clinic. Please call us before your first appointment to arrange this, and bring all relevant paperwork on the day so there is no delay in your treatment.
Yes. We accept DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) and CTP (Compulsory Third Party) claims for motor vehicle accident injuries at our Grange clinic. Please call us before your first appointment to arrange your claim and bring all relevant paperwork with you on your initial consultation.
Yes. We provide physiotherapy services to NDIS participants who are plan-managed or self-managed. Please note we do not currently accept agency-managed plans. Contact our Grange team before booking so we can confirm your funding and set up your file correctly.
We accept private health insurance (HICAPS on-site, claim on the day), Medicare CDM plans (gap applies, we do not bulk bill), Return to Work SA, DVA, CTP, and NDIS (plan-managed and self-managed). We are a cashless practice, payment via Visa or Mastercard. For our most up-to-date fees, please call the clinic on (08) 8356 1379.
