Kensington Physio, Osteo, Exercise Physiology, Onero

Welcome to Move Beyond Kensington! We're proud to be part of the Kensington community, bringing together expert healthcare, personalised treatment and a fresh approach to helping you move and feel your best.

Our Kensington clinic offers Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Exercise Physiology, with a team of practitioners who work together to support your recovery, strength and long-term health. Whether you're managing pain, recovering from an injury, returning to sport or simply wanting to move with more confidence, we're here to help.

Our beautiful new clinic features private treatment rooms and a dedicated movement and rehabilitation space. Alongside one-on-one appointments, we offer practitioner-led group classes, including Clinical Pilates, Clinical Strength and ONERO bone health classes, helping you build strength, improve mobility and stay active at every stage of life.

We believe great healthcare should do more than just get you out of pain. It's about understanding your goals, building confidence in your body and helping you stay well for the long term.

Less time managing injuries. More time doing the things you love.

That's what we mean by Move Into Freedom.

A different approach to healthcare in Kensington

At Move Beyond Kensington, we believe the best outcomes happen when great practitioners work together.

Our shared care approach brings Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Exercise Physiologists together under one roof, combining hands-on treatment, rehabilitation and exercise to support your individual goals.

That might mean seeing a Physiotherapist for a sporting injury, working with an Exercise Physiologist to rebuild strength, or joining our Clinical Pilates or Clinical Strength classes to keep progressing.

Our team works together when needed, so your care feels connected rather than fragmented.

And we're not just focused on getting you back to where you were. We're here to help you build the strength, knowledge and confidence to keep doing what you love for years to come.

Move Beyond Kensington FAQs

What areas around Kensington do you work with?

We love working with the local and surrounding communities, to help them get pain free. We work with clients from Essendon, Travencore, North Melbourne, West Melbourne, Flemington and Ascot Vale. We help many local sporting teams and donate our time to community events to help promote exercise in the community.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed for our services. If you however are referred via Medicare GP plan, DVA, TAC or Workcover a referral may be required.

How can I pay for my appointment?

We are a cashless business, payment may be made via credit card (Visa & Master Card). We do not normally offer credit on account payment. HICAPS facilities are available for private health insurance claims. Patients may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM), however this must be in place and initiated by a GP before treatment commences.

What is shared care at Move Beyond Kensington?

What is shared care?

Shared care is when more than one of our practitioners works with you at the same time. Think of it as a team approach — different experts, one game plan, all pointed in the same direction.

Why would I need more than one practitioner?

Some conditions respond better when we attack them from multiple angles. A sore back, for example, might benefit from a physio working on movement and strength and a remedial massage therapist working on the soft tissue. It's not about doing more — it's about doing the right things together.

How do I know which services are right for me?

You don't have to figure that out yourself — that's what we're here for. Book an initial assessment and your practitioner will map out what's most appropriate for your goals. If another discipline would help, we'll tell you and we'll make the introduction.

Will my practitioners talk to each other?

Yes. Our team shares clinical notes and communicates directly. You won't need to repeat your story five times or play telephone between practitioners.

Can I book multiple services on the same day?

In most cases, yes. We can often stack appointments to save you the trip. Just let reception know and they'll do their best to line things up.

Does shared care cost more?

Each appointment is billed separately, as they're with different practitioners. The upside: if you have private health cover, you can often claim across multiple disciplines. Worth checking your policy.

I've been seeing a practitioner elsewhere — can I transfer to Move Beyond?

Absolutely. Bring any relevant referrals, scans or reports and we'll get you up to speed quickly. A fresh set of eyes on an old problem is never a bad thing.
