We love offering Clinical Strength classes at our clinics. Run by our Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Exercise Physiologists, these small-group sessions bridge the gap between rehabilitation and functional strength training, built around you, not a generic program.
What is Clinical Strength?
Clinical Strength is a small-group strength training program that isn't your typical group fitness session. While delivered alongside others, every program is individually tailored to your body, your goals, and your stage of rehab or fitness. Sessions run for 45 minutes and are kept small (a maximum of four to six participants) so every client is closely supervised and progressed safely. It's a structured, evidence-based way to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and long-term functional strength.

Who should do Clinical Strength Classes?
Clinical Strength is designed to be inclusive and cater to a wide range of clients and goals. It may be a good fit if you are:
Recovering from an injury or surgery.
Preparing for a return to sport, or after an individual approach to conditioning
An older adult wanting to build strength, balance, and confidence
Looking to transition from Clinical Pilates or 1:1 rehab into functional strength training
Managing a chronic health condition, bone health concern, or navigating peri/menopause
These are just a few examples. If you're wondering whether Clinical Strength is right for you, book an appointment and our practitioners will assess and guide you toward the best option for your goals.
What is involved?
Before joining Clinical Strength, all new clients complete an Initial Clinical Strength Assessment and at least one 1:1 strength session with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. This ensures your program is tailored to your goals, movement history, and clinical needs from day one.
From there, you'll join small-group classes led by qualified Physiotherapists, Osteopaths or Exercise Physiologists, who design and supervise every program individually, adjusting your exercises as your strength and confidence improve. Our program typically runs in structured blocks, giving enough time to see real change while keeping your progress on track.
Rehab-driven, fitness-focused: supporting clients at any stage, from rehab through to recovery and maintenance
Integrated shared care: your clinician works closely with our broader team so your program supports your overall treatment plan
Expert supervision: every class is run by a qualified Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Exercise Physiologist
Community and motivation: train alongside like-minded people in a supportive, small-group environment
