At Move Beyond Marrickville, our physiotherapy team works alongside you to understand what matters most — whether that's returning to the sport or martial art you love, recovering from an ACL or shoulder injury, managing a niggling back problem, or simply staying active and functional in your everyday life.
Our clinic is located at Shop 2, 198 Marrickville Road, Marrickville NSW 2204. Marrickville train station on the T3 Bankstown Line is a 5-minute walk from the clinic. Several bus routes also service Marrickville Road directly, making the clinic accessible from across the inner west. We see clients from across the area including Petersham, Stanmore, Enmore, Newtown and St Peters.
Marrickville is one of Sydney's most culturally vibrant inner-west suburbs — known for its creative community, independent businesses and busy, active local population. Our team is used to supporting people who lead full, varied lives, including those with sports injuries, workplace strains and longer-term health conditions.
We take an evidence-based approach to every assessment and treatment plan. Your physiotherapist will take time to understand your full health picture before recommending a course of care that fits your life, your schedule, and your goals.
We’re not just treating symptoms—we’re focused on long-term outcomes that empower you to get back to doing what you love.

Your initial appointment runs for 60 minutes and includes a thorough medical and physical assessment, hands-on treatment, and the development of a personalised management plan. You will be given clear guidance on what to expect across your care and what you can do between sessions.
Almost all clients will benefit from a 30-minute follow-up appointment to review progress, refine the diagnosis, and adjust the management plan as needed. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows your physiotherapist to assess the relevant area.
