Jonathan 'Jono' Ellis is a Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist in Windsor-Prahran with over a decade of experience helping people get back to doing the things they love, whether that's chasing a PB, keeping up with the kids, or just getting through the day pain-free.
Jono's approach is all about finding the why behind an injury, not just treating the symptoms in front of him. He combines hands-on manual therapy with tailored strength and conditioning, and uses gym and Pilates-based and reformer exercises daily to help clients build strength, control, and confidence in their movement. He's a firm believer in keeping clients actively involved in their own rehab as the more you understand what's going on, the better the outcomes tend to be.

He keeps up to date with the latest research, courses, and podcasts, but he's just as guided by the clinical experience and intuition built over years of hands-on practice, blending evidence with what actually works for the person in front of him.
Before joining Move Beyond, Jono spent 12 years in private practice in Perth, most recently as Co-Director and Co-Owner of a clinic. Mentoring has always been close to his heart, and he's especially passionate about helping new-graduate physios build the skills and confidence to thrive in private practice.
Outside the clinic, Jono's either out on a long run, in the gym, on his bike somewhere scenic, or spending time with his family.
